Paris, Jan 29, 2026 – For the Spring–Summer 2026 haute couture presentation by Robert Wun, whose collections are presented on the official Paris haute couture calendar, Paloceras designed a singular eyewear piece, presented in three colourways, created specifically for the Paris runway.
The initial intention for eyewear originated within Wun’s collection narrative. Paloceras was invited to design the piece as part of the overall look, with the eyewear conceived to belong to the outfit itself rather than function as an accessory or afterthought.
Design development was led by Paloceras Design Director Alexis Perron-Corriveau, translating the collection’s visual language into a form designed for the face. The eyewear was developed as a singular runway object, created for the specific context of the show and its presentation.
Manufacturing took place at the Paloceras MicroFactory in Helsinki under the direction of Erwin Laiho, Industrial Designer and Paloceras MicroFactory Lead. Each piece was produced and hand-finished in Finland, with finishing carried out by Laiho to ensure material precision and coherence with the garments shown on the runway.
Presented during Paris Haute Couture Fashion Week, the eyewear operated as part of the dressed body rather than as an external addition, extending the language of couture to the face through form, proportion, and presence.
The appearance marks a rare instance of eyewear designed, manufactured, and hand-finished in Finland entering the Paris haute couture system, where authorship is explicit, decisions are intentional, and pieces are created for singular contexts rather than production cycles.
No commercial release is planned. Elements developed through this project may inform future work by Paloceras.
