EXUVA
A collaboration between Paloceras and artist Ada Sokół, Exuva is a eyewear piece that's both specimen and wearable art. A transformation from digital to physical, captured in a frame.
Named after exuvia, the shell a creature leaves behind after metamorphosis, the design draws on butterflies.
Available with gradient burgundy or solid green visor lens, and a matching charm of your choice.

Sokół brought her digital instincts into physical form. "Accessories like jewellery or eyewear have a special place in my heart," she says. "The moodboard was a mix of couture references and pictures of insects."
The frame pairs a butterfly silhouette with futuristic, jewellery-like detailing. Printed in translucent medical-grade resin at the Paloceras MicroFactory in Helsinki. Interchangeable charms — flower, heart, or star — hang from the temple tips on a 925 silver chain.

"Exuva reflects a shared desire to shed expectations and experiment outside of a commercial brief. Because of the technology we use, the frame exists almost exactly as it was imagined."
