As we developed our unique creations, we explored various manufacturing options in Europe, particularly in France, Italy and Portugal. However, given the technical complexities and the distinctive shape of our designs, we found that local manufacturers were not equipped to produce what we envisioned. Japan, too, presented similar challenges, as many manufacturers suggested they would be unable to meet our requirements without collaboration with producers in Shenzhen.

The reason for this is that our signature exaggerated, inflated volumes require a technology not yet widely available in Europe: press molding of acetate. This technique allows us to achieve a level of roundedness rarely seen in acetate eyewear. The development of our designs reflects our dedication to pushing the boundaries of eyewear design and our commitment to finding innovative solutions to bring our vision to life.

Determined to create the best possible product, we decided to go directly to the source in Shenzhen, China. Alexis personally visited the manufacturing premises, where he met with the management and staff, gaining first hand insight into their operations. This allowed us to ensure that we partnered with a small-scale producer who shares our commitment to quality and craftsmanship. We maintain constant communication with them and conduct quality assurance at multiple points throughout the production and distribution processes to continually refine and enhance our creations. Additionally, we visit the manufacturer annually to further ensure quality control.
